The amazing Isle of Skye, a dream location for any photographer!
One of my favourite shots taken when I was returning from my first Skye Workshop after being delayed returning home by Storm Arwen in 2021. I saw the castle as I drove by reflecting in the loch, a wee midge in my ear told me to go back and get the shot, which I did. And very glad of it too!
Another shot from 2021 workshop, we were heading back into Portree after shooting Sea Eagles when we spotted this eagle lifting from the sea with a cormorant in its talons. The weight of the cormorant made it difficult for the eagle who dropped the cormorant three times before heading off, leaving the cormorant in the water. A real experience to witness this event.
Eilean Donan Castle, this pic was taken on route to Skye. An iconic castle that sits in Loch Long.
Pic taken on a fog climb to Storr. We waited for some time to see if the fog would lift, every now and then it would offer us some hope. Only to take it away again!
This pic was taken by Declan Ward, thanks to him for allowing me to use this pic in my gallery.
Panoramic image of Storr with the 'Cathedral" and the iconic "Old Man' towering above. Foggy conditions limited opportunity for sunrise, the shot every photographer wants!
