I built this web site to show my images in a better format than Facebook or Instagram (other social media sites are available!).
I've been a photographer for a few years since I retired from a career in the Royal Navy (Submarines of course!) and the oil/gas energy industry.
Living in Aberdeen, Scotland, I have easy access to the stunning east coast of Scotland, including Royal Deeside nestling in the magnificent Cairngorms. I mainly capture images in the landscape, seascape genres, living on the coast allows 365 day access to both.
My biggest accolade to date was having a submitted image awarded 'Commended' status in the 2024 Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year (SLPOTY) in the Urban category for a picture I took of Fittie in Aberdeen.
